Famous Mum of the Week: Pink

When Pink first burst on to the music scene as the anti-pop princess, we loved her attitude as much as her music. It’s difficult to believe she’s now a married mum but her personality remains undimmed and we love how she’s combining studio time and campaigning against domestic violence with caring for baby daughter Willow.

In the last week, she’s been involved with the inaugural Sisters’ Soiree to raise awareness and funds for Linda’s Voice. The organisation has a ‘mission to engage, educate and empower women to work together to end domestic abuse.’ Pink tweeted her delight at bidding and winning a painting by Eric Wahl at the event.

However, it was the pinnacle of a busy month which has seen Pink, her husband Carey, and Willow, enjoy the summer sunshine at every opportunity. They’re regularly snapped driving round in a golf cart or cycling to the beach with Willow in a special baby cycle seat attached to the front of her mum’s bike.

We love that they spend so much time together as a family and that they’re already getting Willow accustomed to being outside and active. Happily Willow is always well protected from the sun with cute wide-brimmed sunhats and light jackets.

In fact we think the Yippydada Adventure Baby Changing Bag would be the perfect accessory for their lives as they always seeming to be setting out on mini-ventures. And since Pink has even tweeted about her amazing diaper genie, we’re guessing she’d love a designer baby changing bag that fits their lifestyle and has enough pockets to carry all the items needed when you have a baby daughter. Our compact diaper bag would fit perfectly in their bike basket.

As well as enjoying cycling, it seems as though Willow is following in her musical mum’s footsteps. Pink tweeted: ‘Turns out my daughter plays bass.’  To follow up a day later with: ‘Turns out my daughter plays the bells, too.’

As well as being a busy mum, Pink is also spending time in the studio recording her sixth album.
